Hey guys! Today I am sharing my makeup routine with you all. Most days, I am home and either don’t wear any or only take about 5 minutes to do a little something to myself. On a day where I am actually going somewhere and have the time, I like to do a little more!
So, here it is. And don’t be fooled, this doesn’t take forever! 10-15 minutes max, and that’s with a toddler interrupting me every few minutes 😉
Step one: cleanse. Start with a clean face, of course! I have been using Tula cleanser and the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair cream, followed by some SPF. And then my tried and true Smashbox primer, love love LOVE this stuff. Best. Ever.
Step two: face. First I put my Tarte concealer under my eyes for those dark circles, (#teamnosleep cuz #momlife). Then I have been using L’Oreal’s Infallible Pro Glow Foundation lately, and really love it. When it’s brighter outside though, I use the IT Cosmetics CC Cream. I have never used a BB/CC cream that I love more! Then I use my Wowder over the liquid foundation, mostly because it helps the rest of my makeup glide on smoothly.
Step three: add color. Next I use the contour in my Tarte Contour & Highlight kit (on sale!). I brush it on my cheeks, hairline, jawline and neck. Then I use the highlighter on my cheekbones, brow bones, nose & chin. Also I realized I forgot to put my blush in the photo! But I’ve been using this Tarte one.
Step four: eyebrows. Then I take my angled brush, dip it in my NYX brow pomade and fill in my brows. I start by shaping the outside with harsh lines, then fill them in and soften up the lines as I go. Then I go over them with my brow gel, and use concealer around my brows to hide any stray hairs.
Step five: eyes. I usually keep my eyeshadow pretty simple, a really light shade under my brows to highlight, and my favorite for my lids lately is “half baked” in my Naked Palette. Then I do a slight cat-eye with my Kat Von D eyeliner. Then I spray my setting spray all over my face, and curl my lashes and do eyelash primer and mascara! I use Maybelline mascara and love it! Seriously, 7 bucks instead of 20-30. You should try it!
Step six: lips. I normally just put on some chapstick until I leave the house, but in the photos I am wearing this lip gloss!
And that’s it! Easy peasy. Thanks for reading, let me know if you try and love any of these products!!
